Alison Boak

Candidate bio

Alison Boak currently serves as the Deputy Town Supervisor and previously served one four-year term on the Town Board. She has demonstrated strong leadership for Pound Ridge. Most notably, she has led the charge for the revitalization in Scotts Corners including founding of the Pound Ridge Partnership, spearheading and serving as Project Manager for the TEP grant to address traffic and beautification issues in town, and actively seeking solutions to Scotts Corners long-time water issue. Ali is an international expert on the exploitation of children and adolescents, and her work to build strategic collaborations to address human trafficking in Westchester has been recognized by County Executive Astorino, Westchester County Board of Legislators, Congresswoman Nita Lowey, and My Sisters’ Place. She is a former Peace Corps Volunteer, Fulbright Scholar and holds a Masters of Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
