Carla Brand

Candidate for Town Board

Personal statement

“I am running for Pound Ridge Town Board as I believe that I have the passion, energy and skill set to help build a future for Pound Ridge that preserves what residents love about the town – the natural beauty, open space and strong sense of community – while helping to propel the Town forward on issues related to climate change and sustainability. In my conservations with residents, I also understand the issues that are top of mind and critical to all including improving the quality of our roads, protecting PRES and being fiscally responsible and prudent with our precious tax dollars. I am committed 100% to addressing all of these. I care deeply about our Town and the people in Pound Ridge and will do my best to advocate for all to make sure that each resident has a voice. I will bring a sustainable mindset to the Town Board to make sure that this is a lens through which we evaluate our programs to help preserve our environment and ideally create a world that is better than we left it, and that is safe for our children and for future generations to come.”
