The Democratic Party in Pound Ridge

On the local level, the Democratic Party, its district leaders, and its committee officers work to represent everyone within the Town of Pound Ridge. We work to elect candidates and to support officeholders and committee appointees who are dedicated to Democratic Party ideals — justice, equality, inclusiveness, transparency, and fairness.  We strive to build a strong, vibrant community where every voice is heard and where full and open debate is cherished. The energy and activism of our members and elected officials are vital to these efforts. The PRDC also coordinates with elected officials and other party groups at the county level and beyond.

Our Leadership

We have been lucky to have been served by a series of dynamic and creative chairs, some of whom remain active in the party. The local party is currently led by Committee Chair Roslyn Stone Pollock and Committee Vice Chair Ali Boak.
