THANK YOU! We are so grateful for your interest in supporting the migrant children in our care. Following is a list of items that will help make the teen’s time with us more comfortable and engaging — all items must be NEW, unworn, and unused. We will be accepting donations on our Dobbs Ferry campus on Wednesday, June 27, between 10am and 2pm. Please email Vanessa Lapolla ( for delivery details and confirmation.

  • Welcome Bag with toiletries and hygiene products (including pads and tampons, as well as soap, shampoo, antibacterial lotions, etc.)

Thank you for all reading this. I encourage you to also get in contact with Cayuga Center in the Bronx which has another 12 girls that were “shuttled" over early last week. Their website is as follows…. They just got back to me today with an email and are much more in need of volunteer TIME if you have the bandwidth for it….at this point in history I think we can all make time for something like this, even if it means a sacrifice, and especially despite your politics.
