Pound Ridge Town Board
The town board is responsible for administering the government, approving the budget and taxes, and appointing members to boards and committees. Board members are elected to four-year terms, and the supervisor is elected to a two-year term.
Regular town board meetings are conducted twice a month at the Town House. Any Pound Ridge resident may attend. Anyone can watch live-streamed video of town board meetings here. There is also an archive of video recordings of past board meetings.

Westchester County Officials
The seventeen-member Westchester County Board of Legislators is the legislative policy-making branch of county government, and it is to Westchester what the US Congress is to the United States. Each legislator is elected for a two-year term and represents a district of approximately 56,000 residents. A legislator must reside in the district he or she represents.
The board meets at least once a month, usually on Monday evenings in the legislative chambers located on the eigth floor of the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains. All board meetings are open to the public.

Pound Ridge is located in 93rd State Assembly District, which includes Armonk, Bedford, Bedford Hills, Chappaqua, Harrison, Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge, and White Plains. Pound Ridge is also part of the 40th State Senate District, which includes Briarcliff Manor, Buchanan, Cortlandt, Croton-on-Hudson, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, Mount Pleasant, New Castle, North Salem, Peekskill, Pleasantville, Pound Ridge, Sleepy Hollow, Somers, and Yorktown in Westchester County, as well as portions of Putnam and Dutchess Counties.
