For the first time ever, New York State will offer early in-person voting in 2019.

Saturday, October 26: 12-5pm
Sunday, October 27: 12-5pm

Thursday, October 31: 12-8pm

You can register to vote by absentee ballot if you meet any one of the following criteria:
You will be absent from your county on Election Day.
You will be unable to appear at the polls due to temporary or permanent illness or disability; or because you are the primary care giver of one or more individuals who are ill or physically disabled.
You are a resident or patient of a Veterans Health Administration Hospital.
You are detained in jail awaiting Grand Jury action or confined in prison after conviction for an offense other than a felony.

Deadline to hand-deliver absentee ballot application: November 6, 2017
You can register to vote at any time, provided that you meet all of the following criteria:
Be a US citizen
Be 18 years of age by the date of the election in which you want to vote
Be a resident of your address for at least thirty days prior to the election in which you want to vote
Not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction
Not claim the right to vote elsewhere
